The 2014 New Zealand Mountain Film Festival is a combination of events over the five days July 4th to 8th in NZ’s premier alpine village of Wanaka (to learn about Wanaka click here) and also Queenstown on July 10 & 11th. The NZ Mountain Film Festival is a non-profit registered charitable trust
The Lyttelton Urban Down Hill Event runs anually on a course from Somes Rd to London St, a distance of 1.2 Km with a 160m vertical drop. With over 3000 spectators, Talented international riders and great hospitality from the Lyttelton Community the event was a huge success.
The Remarkables Ice & Mixed Climbing Festival is not for profit. All money raised will be used for festival running costs and donations to the Expedition Climbers Club (Inc.), Expedition Capital Fund.
Our aim is to advance technical winter climbing in New Zealand by bringing new climbing partners together in a supportive environment that fosters innovation, sharing and competition.

The inaugural Motatapu was held in 2005, offering a mountain bike or marathon option and attracted 1,000 participants. Now over 3,700 people take part in five different events, all held on the same day.
