What to do

During this challenging period of being off work or working from home, a lot of us have children of varying ages to keep occupied, and our own sanity to preserve.

Our intention is not to encourage people to go against any advice given by the authorities. Any outdoor trips or activities that have any chance of people incurring an injury and placing a load on rescue or health personnel, we suggest you delay until this is over.

We have reached out to our staff and our brand ambassadors for ideas to help keep our communities active and engaged during this time. We know that exercise and fresh air is really important to people’s mental well being, and how dastardly boredom can be! You can get out for exercise – a walk, a bike ride, a run, just stay in your self isolation bubble with those people who live in your household, and distance yourself from everyone else.

This page, and our social channels, will be regularly updated with suggestions for getting through this time and ideally having a bit of fun at the same time. If you have suggestions to share, please email us marketing@southernapproach.co.nz
